Do you have insurance?
Yes. I have public liability insurance and cover for my equipment.
Who owns the copyright to the photos?
I do, as the creator of the images, but you can share your photographs with family and friends and print your images as you wish.
What equipment do you use?
I work with professional Nikon camera bodies and lenses. You won't see me arrive with tons of equipment; I prefer to work with a small selection of my go-to lenses so I can move around freely and discreetly capturing your day.
Do you travel throughout the UK for weddings?
Yes.
Do you travel abroad for weddings?
Yes.
Are travel costs included?
My prices usually include my travel expenses but if I need to travel far for your wedding, there may be an additional charge for travel and accommodation (that I always keep as reasonable as possible).
Are the photos watermarked?
No.
Do you offer the option of a second photographer?
Yes. I have a few select and experienced second photographers that I work with if you are looking for additional coverage or are having a larger wedding. If you are interested in having an additional photographer on your day, please let me know and we can discuss this further.
How long is full-day wedding photography?
6 - 10 hours.
How does it work with the family & group photos?
If you would like to have some photos taken with your family and guests this will usually take about 30 mins. As a guideline, I usually recommend 8-10 maximum so that it doesn't take up too much of your time and you can enjoy your day with your guests.
Couple photos
I will need about 20 mins with just the two of you. Using two or three of the more private spots around the venue, I will take some relaxed images of the two of you together. This is usually a really nice opportunity to have some time to yourselves.
I'm not sure if I want an album. How does it work?
You can order an album at any point before or after your wedding. If you think you might be interested, just let me know and I am happy to provide further information.
What time do you arrive for bridal / groom preparations?
Usually about 1 hour 30 mins before you leave for your ceremony.
Can I share my online photo gallery with friends and family?
Yes, absolutely.
Can my family and friends order prints?
Yes, your gallery will come with an online print store through which all your guests can order prints and a variety of other products.
How do I book you?
Get in touch. I’ll check my availability and we can then have a chat about your wedding, what you are hoping for and how I can help. If you want to go ahead and secure your date, I will ask you to pay a 25% initial payment and sign a contract form to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is payable one month prior to your wedding.
What happens after we have booked you?
About a month before your wedding I will be in touch to discuss your day further and find out all the details I need, including your timeline, contact info and a list of the family photos you would like. I am available to help you at any point through the planning process, in the lead up to your wedding as well.
What happens after the wedding?
Relax and enjoy yourselves. I'll be in touch when your photos are ready!
